We are completely done! We fedexed everything today and it should be with the Ethiopian government in about three weeks! Every thing is in DC getting authenticated this week and then it is off to Addis Ababa! HOORAY!!! So now we just need to be patient and wait! Which will probably be the hardest part. It went by sooo.. fast,(all the paperwork and everything) that it is hard for me to believe that we are done. It seems like we just started! I guess it was only about 4 months since we started the paperwork but still! Way faster then China huh! I am so excited!!!!!!!!! (In case you couldn't tell!)

YAY! I bet that is such a great feeling! I totally agree with your comment about the interest in Africa being more common than I thought- and I am really realizing this through finding some great blogs!

Oh ya- is it alright if I link you on the sidebar of my blog?
Hi Ellie,
I just read your whole blog.. that's so exciting about your new siblings! I bet you can't wait to finally see their pictures, and then meet them face to face!
I was just wondering, how long does the whole process take in the States? Because that seems so short! You're really lucky! For us, we started in April of 2005, and got our referral in April of 2006, and traveled in August of 2006.. quite a long time all together! But I think that was partly the agency we used.. who knows!
Anyway, I can't wait to see pictures of your siblings.. wow three! That'll be a big change! I know Ayana and Moses sure were, and that was two! :D

That's SO exciting!! Waiting is hard, but I'm sure it's a relief that it's out of your hands now...I know it was for me. And remember, it will ALL be worth it when you see your sisters for the first time!
Are you getting a sibling group that you already have information about or are you waiting to get matched? If so, what age range did you request? Which agency are you using? Sorry for the questions, but I'm interested to hear more about your adoption!
Good luck!!!!
Hi, I just found you're blog. My name is Staci, I'm 15, and the big sister to a 3 yr old named Sarah adopted from China this past December. Are you getting three little sisters? How awesome!! :)

Hello all! We are going with 'Gladney Center for Adoption'
we are done with all our paperwork so we will be put on a waiting list for a referral soon.(like probably a week or two.)We will probably not be traveling until october or november though because of the rainy season. We have requested 3 children under 4 years old. Preferably girls but we will still take a boy. We started the process in march of this year so yes the process for us has gone VERY quickly!
Ellie
Wow- that IS quick! How exciting.
