Please pray.....

WE just received a call from Gladney via Belay in Ethiopia. Our precious daughter M. is missing from the orphanage since Tuesday. She is approx. 11 yrs. old and she is currently wandering the streets of Addis Ababa, a city of 3 million people. They believe she is trying to find her step sister. She has been depressed as she learned her step sisters baby has died. She is a precious young lady and we are asking all of you to join us in getting on our knees before God to ask him to bring her back safe, sound, and immediately. She has no money, she is all alone. The police have been notified but, honestly, the streets are full of children begging and homeless. It is going to be a MIRACLE that brings her back to us! We are absolutely heart broken...... PLEASE, PLEASE PRAY FOR HER!!!She doesn't even know about us yet. She has no idea she is in the process of being adopted. This could be contributing to her depression and desparation. She watches people come for the little children every day. She is so sad and she has no clue that the Lord is working in her life to bring her a forever family! She is out there in the dark, cold, hungry, scared and in great danger!!!! Please lift her up until you hear from us again. Our God is a God of miracles, I know HE IS WITH HER RIGHT NOW! ONLY HE CAN HELP HER!THOSE WHO KNOW YOUR NAME WILL TRUST IN YOU, FOR YOU, HAVE NEVER FORSAKEN THOSE WHO SEEK YOU. PSALM 9:10BUT YOU, O GOD, DO SEE TROUBLE AND GRIEF; YOU CONSIDER IT TO TAKE IT IN HAND., THE VICTIM COMMITS HIMSELF TO YOU; YOU ARE THE HELPER OF THE FATHERLESS. PSALM 10:14THANK YOU!! ~Jerry and Eileen Mestas

Oh wow. That's so sad. And seriously, who is going to look that hard for an orphan on the streets?? I bet you wish you could be there to search too and tell her that her home is with you! If only she'd known she had a family waiting. I pray God will lead her back.

I know you don't know me but I have been following your journey for some time now. I saw this post several days ago and have shared it with my coworkers. We are praying for her safe return. Have you had any news?
